In November 2004 Titjikala Primary School
had an Arts Festival

Three artists joined the school for two weeks
Pablo a musician, Patti a painter
and Tim an animator.

We did lots of workshops and activities.

We made animations with models, camera and computer.
We made and recorded music, drums, bass, guitars and
lots of singing and songwriting.
We painted a mural on panels to put up in the playground.

below are some photos from that time if you have some please contact Tim below.
soon we may have more + some animation and music on this page so ckeck back again.
We did some model making, using found stuff.
These can become scenery in model animation.

Ansara's waterhole and campfire model in progress.

Martika makes a stockyard too

wave over Clarrie's face
We used sticks, stones, rocks, dirt, glue and cellophane
we used hotglue often as it is very quick and solid
be careful not to burn yourself.

Clarrie's stockyard and man.

mmm a waterhole at school....that would be nice

We did some shadow puppets using the old
overhead projector.
(remember if it shuts off it's just because the fans
broken and it needs to cool down, it will
come on again soon)

Steve came one day to record the Maku song we
had been writing with Pablo.

The Deadly Treadlies came that week
we fixed up lots of bikes and had races too.
That day we all had our special shirts on for the party
to open the new childcare centre.

Yamba and Hector came along for the opening.
Lots of important people came
and celebrated with us.
The new building is great.
We had lots of  food and fun.....

.....and in the end we had a waterfight to cool off.
(well we don't have a pool yet!)
